L7812 12V Voltage Regulator

Overview

This L7812 12V Voltage Regulator TO-220 can provide up to 1A of output current at a fixed voltage of 12 V. This chip is nonLDO integrated circuit and excess voltage is removed by heat dissipation.

Given that the product dissipating much heat, it is recommended to use in applications that do not have a high current consumption. It is also necessary to mount filtering capacitors before and after the regulator  according to  the attached datasheets.
